Emergency waiting rooms are always fun.

Favorite peanut butter of the week: Archer Farms Vanilla Cranberry Peanut Butter. Anyone can find that at your local Target.

Favorite read of the week: Of Mice and Men, by John Steinbeck

Most bizarre movie of the week: The Science of Sleep. Strange and very hard to follow. I maybe would recommend to watch it when you are high.

Best movie of the week: Stranger Than Fiction. It was highly creative. I loved every minute of it!

The cd I listened to the most: Arriving by Chris Tomlin.

Favorite drink of the week: Orange Gatorade. We have tons of it lying around the house because Matt has the flu. Drink up!

The best compliment of the week: "There's no doubt in my mind that you are going to be successful no matter what you do." -Matt Mewhorter

Best gift I received: Chocolate chip cookies from our neighbor, Dan. They were delicious and perfect in every way.

And thus are the events of the week that has past. Some were melancholy and will soon be forgotten, some will last in my memory forever. Alas! As I awake to the new week, may my heart be glad and may my being rejoice in the glorious anticipation for what this week shall spring forth!

Gay Babies?

I came on the internet today to check my email and I came across this.

Apparently Mohler, who is a baptist minister, believes now that homosexuality may very well be genetics as opposed to a simple choice. Props for Mohler! However, I was HIGHLY discouraged when I read down the article and discovered that he wants to change a baby's genetic makeup from the womb just so that God breathed life won't be a homosexual.

I believe a biology professor from The University of Minnesota-Morris, Paul Myers, feels the same way I do. He says:

"If there are such genes, they will also contribute to other aspects of social and sexual interactions," Myers wrote. "Disentangling the nuances of preference from the whole damn problem of loving people might well be impossible."

He Conquered!

Yes, I fought.
